Gaining Foundation Trust status will allow Kingston Hospital to do more to improve the care and support we give our patients and meet the needs of our local communities. As part of achieving Foundation Trust status, we need our local community to become members of our hospital and to help us shape the future of Kingston Hospital and the services we offer local people. Membership is free and it is completely up to individual members how involved they want to be.
Members will receive:
our quarterly newsletter, Insight, keeping you up to date with developments at the hospital
invitations to events, seminars and meetings.
Members can also:
attend members' council meetings
elect representatives for the Council of Governors and stand for election as a Governor
apply to become a Non-Executive Director of the Trust Board.
