Kingston Hospital NHS Trust has established a Patient Assembly and we are currently inviting new members to join. The Patient Assembly provides an opportunity for patients and the public who live in the areas served by the hospital, to get involved in providing a voice for patients. Members are volunteers from a range of different backgrounds who advise the Trust on ways to gain more feedback from patients and the public, and how to ensure that we act on this feedback.
There will be opportunities to develop skills in research, chairing meetings, and supporting others to get their views across. Members will be able to join Trust committees in some cases, or if prefferred, participate in a range of activities, in the hospital and the community. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking to enhance skills and experience in the health sector.
