Diabetes Day Unit Access - Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
We provide a range of treatments and specialist support for people across South West London with type 1 and 2 diabetes. Our diabetes services are based at Kingston Hospital (in both our main outpatient department and our Diabetes Day Unit), Raynes Park Health Centre and Surrey Downs, where we provide a multi-disciplinary approach to ensure the best possible care for our patients. Our services are available for both inpatients and outpatients, offering both general and specialist clinics to treat and manage more complex diabetic conditions. The team would often be working alongside specialist dietitians, podiatrists, endocrinologists and psychologists.

The service consists of increased specialist diabetes support at general practices, alongside structured education to GPs and patients, and regular multidisciplinary (MDT) clinics at a range of sites in the area.
“Tier 3” services are those that support patients with more complex needs than can be met at their general practice.
