Jasmine Unit is the Early pregnancy and Acute Gynaecology Unit at Kingston Hospital and provides an ultrasound based one stop assessment for women with problems in early pregnancy and women with emergency gynaecological problems.
Jasmine Unit is located in Kingston Hospital, Esher Wing, Level 6. You can reach the Jasmine Unit by entering the hospital via the main entrance or via the outpatients and following signs for Esher Wing. There is always someone at the Main Entrance who can direct you.
A dedicated multiprofessional team consisting of doctors, nurse specialists, staff nurses, sonographers and receptionists. Some of the members of staff you will see include Consultants Miss Meena Shankar, Miss Diana Fleming, Nurse Specialist Patricia Steele, Sister Clare Livermore and Receptionists Amanda DeVries, Nimmie Smedley and Anne Butcher.
Either your GP or Kingston Hospital Accident & Emergency department must refer all patients seen in the unit. Only women who have had a previous ectopic pregnancy or experienced three consecutive miscarriages may self refer by calling the unit.
