The Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service has been developed as a joint venture between Macmillan Cancer Support and Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
We want to ensure that people affected by cancer have access to good quality, comprehensive and appropriate information and support.
The service is staffed by a health professional and supported by trained volunteers. Some of our volunteers have personal experiences of living with cancer.
What we offer
We offer information and support to anyone who has concerns about cancer, their relatives, friends and carers.
You are welcome to browse through our range of information leaflets on all aspects of cancer, cancer prevention, and a healthy lifestyle.
A series of free workshops which are sponsored by Macmillan and Kingston Hospital Charity are held throughout the year to support patients with cancer and their family members or carers. There are also introductory videos on these workshops available to view via the following links:
We also offer free guided internet access on request. Some of our resources are available in different languages or a larger print and we also have a range of information for people with learning disabilities.
We can listen to you and discuss how cancer is affecting your life.
The Macmillan Information Centre at Kingston Hospital offers a range of complementary therapies.
