At the Wolverton Centre we have been providing a free, comprehensive and confidential sexual health service in Southwest London to everyone who may need our service for nearly twenty years. We provide routine testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV testing, treatment following HIV risk (PEPSE), emergency contraception services, a full range of contraceptive services and dedicated clinics for young people, gay/bisexual men and patients with learning difficulties.

A referral is not required and there are walk-in clinics every day. A visit can be arranged by phone, e-booking or simply by attending a walk-in clinic.

  • Advice, testing & treatment of  STIs (sexually transmitted infections)
  • Quick STI testing for patients without symptoms/problems (the nurse will take your bloods and you do some of the tests yourself)
  • Dedicated clinics for young people and homosexual/bi-sexual men.
  • Dedicated clinics for patients with learning difficulties
  • Emergency contraception & pregnancy testing
  • Routine & long term contraception
  • Free condoms
  • Testing for HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) and results available within 2 days
  • Ongoing care for patients diagnosed with HIV with a dedicated & experienced support team
  • Treatment following exposure to HIV
  • Support following sexual assault and for sex workers
  • Specialist clinics & counselling for patients with more complex sexual health conditions or needs, available following an initial assessment at the centre or by a direct referral from a GP or Hospital Consultant.
