Samantha and Rob Moore raise over £3,500 for Maternity Interview Room
Samantha and Rob Moore raise over £3,500 for Maternity Interview Room Samantha and Rob Moore have raised over £3,500 to date to create a dignified space for those using Kingston Hospital’s maternity service. Having lost two children in pregnancy, they want to ensure the hospital has an appropriate space for when the most serious and sensitive conversations can take place between families and staff. As Sam explains “It needs to be somewhere to get bad news, to rest after invasive surgery or to have tests. Some people who use the new room will have a happy ending. I have two children as evidence of that. Staff at the hospital have been fantastic. It’s not the hospital’s fault. They’re doing what they can with what they’ve got.” If you would like to support their fundraising efforts, please visit their JustGiving page.

The toys, for all age ranges, were donated by individual employees and delivered to Kingston Hospital on 22nd December. This generous donation was particularly well-timed, as paediatric A&E staff had been fundraising for toys for its new waiting area. Thanks to Russell-Cooke’s generosity, the staff were able to give some of the toys as presents to children staying at the hospital over Christmas.
