Nominations are now open for Kingston Hospital’s Volunteer Awards 2016.
Did a volunteer make the difference between good and exceptional care for you or someone you love at Kingston Hospital? Do you know a volunteer that deserves recognition for putting patients first and having a real personal impact on their care. If so, nominate them now.
There are five categories which you can nominate under. These are:
Laura Shalev Greene, Head of Volunteering at Kingston Hospital, said: “Our volunteers are our unsung heroes. They contribute over 60,000 hours each year and play a vital role in helping our patients across the Hospital in over 28 impactful roles. Kingston Hospital volunteers are motivated to give something back to their local hospital and rewarded by the difference they make. The Volunteer Awards celebrate their achievements.”
Nominations close on Monday 23 May and the winners will be announced at the Volunteer's Summer Tea Party and awards on Thursday 16th June. The nomination form and more information about the award categories can be found on the Hospital’s website www.kingstonhospital.nhs.uk/get-involved.aspx
Please email all completed nominations to firstname.lastname@example.org or you can drop off a paper copy to Kathryn Marsh, Volunteers Services Manager, Davies Wood House Paper copies of the nomination forms are also available in the Hospital’s reception areas.
