Dr Grigoriou was appointed as a Rheumatology Consultant in Kingston Hospital in 2015. She received an extensive training in all aspects of Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine working in Hospitals within the London Deanery, including King’s College Hospital, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, St George’s University Hospital as well as Kingston Hospital. She has been awarded the MRCP (UK) and MRCP (Rheumatology) from the Royal College of Physicians and she holds an MSc degree in Rheumatology from King’s College London. She has been actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and assessment as well as in research and she is currently the Principal Investigator of a research study done in Kingston Hospital in liaison with King’s College London. She has presented a number of scientific abstracts in national and international meetings such as the American College of Rheumatology, European League Against Rheumatism and British Society of Rheumatology and she also published abstracts in scientific journals. She currently works as a full time Consultant Rheumatologist at Kingston Hospital and does once weekly clinic at Queen Mary’s Hospital (St George’s University Hospital Trust – Roehampton).
She has a special interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound which she performs for diagnostic purposes but also for ultrasound guided injections. She has experience to manage all the spectrum of rheumatological conditions, such as inflammatory arthritides, connective tissue diseases, crystal arthropathies, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis as well soft tissue diseases.
