I graduated with distinction from Edinburgh University before completing my Foundation training in the west of Scotland.
I moved to London for core medical training at Charing Cross and Hammersmith hospitals before training in cardiology on the north west London rotation, including specialist fellowships in heart failure and devices at the Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals. I undertook my MD Research with Prof Cowie and the heart failure service at the Royal Brompton hospital and Imperial College National Heart and Lung Institute. I was appointed as a consultant at Kingston and St George's hospitals in 2017.
I have an interest in medical education and am a member of the BCS Education Committee.

All aspects of cardiology, with particular interest in heart failure, pacemakers, ICDs and CRT.
