ED Transformation – please note possible disruptions possible to hospital entrance on Galsworthy Road - Tuesday 12 and Weds 13 September

As part of Kingston Hospital’s Emergency Department transformation, 12 pre-engineered modular units will be delivered to the compound outside of ED, on Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th September.

The first delivery of the units will be at around 7am on Tuesday and will continue throughout the day up to approximately 5pm on both days.

These units will all be delivered to the site using the Galsworthy Road entrance and be escorted, into the secure fenced compound, located immediately outside ED. When leaving this compound the vehicles will exit, again slowly, using the road through the Veridian staff accommodation buildings and back onto Galsworthy Road.

This is likely to cause some minor inconvenience, during the short delivery and exiting of the vehicles, because contractors will be escorting the vehicles into the construction compound to ensure complete safety.

We ask all staff and visitors to be extra vigilant, between the hours of 7am and up to 6pm on both these days, on and around Galsworthy Road during these deliveries.
